Accomplishments

Development
- Updated the Internal, Outbound, Validate and End-To-End Self-Tests with changes that Matt Wizeman presented at the Code-A-Thon: changes include loading the properties from the properties file at the project load script level, moving the GetDates step that is used by all the testcases to the load script and groovy updates to the SQL steps.

  • Addressed questions related to UDDI/profiles.

- Identified issues with Universal Client.

- Facilitated the VLER DT&E team's testing efforts during "Over-the-Shoulder" testing.
- Completed regression testing with the VA test team pointed to the VLER environment.

Tools and Infrastructure
- Upgraded portal to newer version of confluence (3.0.2)
- Moved portal, jira, crowd, and target process to commercial hosting facility

Build Times

- Created custom Ant task for WSIMPORT - based on JAX-WS original code

  • Change was to remove generation of classes for included schemas
  • Improved build time on that NhincCommonTypesLib by approximately 80%  (On build server went from ~45 minutes to ~3 minutes)- Research of other build issues - identified places we can address in next sprint- Research of current build times on each project* Plan is to combine some projects together to reduce number of projects
  • Short term plan to change from projects on classpath to jar files on classpath (this problem goes completely away with new build scripts)
