Source Code Install

Prior to installing the CONNECT Gateway, it is recommended to review the CONNECT Software Architecture and the Release Notes.

The Source Code Install is used when you want to install all of the CONNECT Gateway and Adapter software from source code.  This requires that you install all of the third party software, configure CONNECT, compile all of the source code, and deploy the compiled source.  This installation will enable you to set up a development environment by which you can create your custom software including the customizing of the CONNECT Adapter to interface with your environment. In order to complete this installation, you will need the following:

• Source Code Installation and Configuration Manual
• Source Code
• Third Party Tools and Components (Both downloads)

To install this version, follow the instructions in the Source Code Installation and Configuration Manual.
